BGS \| SAN FRANCISCO AREA ALUMNI CHAPTER Biography Tom Castillo Treasurer
Following a successful term at San Francisco State University, where he earned a Bachelor's in Accounting, Tom Castillo kicked off his career as an audit associate at Rothstein Kass, a top-ranked accounting firm and a leader in the hedge fund industry. Tom is primarily responsible for testing the existence and valuation of investments and assuring financial statements are in conformity with GAAP. In addition, he has recently passed the uniform CPA examination and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He expects to be certified by year's end. When he's not working, Tom enjoys following the San Francisco Giants, barbecuing, and going to his hometown, Santa Cruz, to spend time with friends and family. Back to bios
