Announcing our Holiday Speaker: Kara Swisher of The Wall Street Journal's Boomtown and D:All Things Digital. Do the Blog Thing at http://kara.allthingsd.com/ About Kara: Kara Swisher started covering digital issues for the The Wall Street Journal's San Francisco bureau in 1997 and also wrote the BoomTown column about the sector. With Walt Mossberg, she co-produces and co-hosts D: All Things Digital, a major high-tech and media conference. Read her full bio. Come join fellow members and celebrate the Season! We will be enjoying festive food and refreshments, while providing a convenient location for last minute shopping! Raffle items include wine, public transportation tickets, magazine subscriptions, and a Cesna plane ride over the Bay for two (without carbon off-set) and more. In addition, we will be hosting a charitable drive for a local non-profit with a national presence. If you would like to bring a child's small blanket, a soft, stuffed animal or book to support Project Night Night, the organization would greatly appreciate it. Project Night Night is dedicated to improving the lives of homeless children.
