While you're there, or via email to info@bgssf.org, please let us know your thoughts regarding monthly mixers for our group. The local alumni chapter, while primarily an educational organization, is looking for ways to build our community for knowledge sharing and collaboration opportunities. Mixers provide an informal venue for getting to know each other, so we are considering the following:

• Holding a mixer every month on the same relative day.
  • Is the second Tuesday a good day?
  • Is 5–7 p.m. a good time in order to take advantage of happy hour prices? If not, what times do you suggest?
  • Should we continue to have the mixers at Palomino? If not, where do you suggest?
    
• Rotating locations so that, for example, we have a mixer in San Francisco, East Bay, and South Bay each quarter.
  • Would you be more likely to attend a mixer if we did this?
  • If so, can you suggest a location in one of these areas that likely would be easy for members to get to (mass transit, parking) and that does not charge a fee for using its space?
• Charging $7 to help cover food costs.
  • Would you be willing to pay this to ensure availability of food to share, or would you prefer not to have food unless you order it yourself?
  • Alternatively, how would you feel about free admission to mixers for only BGS members who have paid their current annual alumni chapter dues, and charging $10 for everyone else?
