2003.10.16 • Entrepreneurship in a Corporate Environment | Fall Meeting and Elections • BGS members and guests assembled at the University of San Francisco to participate in a panel discussion on building business leadership and success through with an entrepreneurial approach. Thian Hoo Tan, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board at Komag delivered a keynote presentation. Jack Cassidy, associate professor of management at St. Mary's College moderated the panel discussion with panlists Bill Gervasi, who helped drive the development of international standards for computer memory technology with the JEDEC standards organization; Larry Louie, professor at the USF School of Business and Management; Eugene J. Muscat, senior Associate Dean at the USF School of Business and Management; George J. Slawek, Vice President and Sr. Consultant with Bank of America's Capital Markets-Finance Group; and Mary Stone, Vice President and Regional Sales Manager for Merrill Lynch.
